Dental Veneers

Dental Veneers in Cary, NC

What are Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front of the teeth, providing a natural, attractive look. Veneers can be used to fix chipped, stained, misaligned, worn down, uneven or abnormally spaced teeth.

The two most common materials used in dental veneers are composite resin and porcelain.

Types of Veneers?

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers, as described by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, are thin pieces of porcelain shaped to fit over the front side of your teeth. Veneers are strong, look natural and are made to match the shape and color of your own teeth.

If you have teeth that are discolored, chipped, decayed or poorly shaped consider veneers to improve your smile. Veneers are also an option if you are considering closing a slight gap between two teeth.

Composite Veneers

Composite veneers, are a resin that is applied in layers to the tooth and sculpted directly in your mouth to achieve the desired shape of the tooth and appearance. Composite veneers are a less expensive alternative to porcelain veneers.
